Crufts 2011 Critique

VD (1) 1 Bain's Hillmorton Dazzle. 8 and half year old dog in full prime nice head well laid shoulder, long neck, deep brisket,, good topline with correct rise over the loin, moved with a good stride but a bit close behind.

SPD
(5,1)1 Peach's Ellnkayvee Boycee, very mature puppy and very well balanced, nice outline, masculine head, long neck good shoulder, deep brisket, well bent stifles, good rise over the loin, moved well for a youngster, presented a nice balanced picture. 2 Draper's Sireadh Corsa At Meneghy, not as mature in outlook, and not the bone of winner, however a good head and good overall conformation, not as settled on the move as winner. 3 Robb's Gentiehun Sage, promising, pleasing head, not as finished as winner, and not as deep in brisket, moved fairly well but a bit close behind.

(9,2)1 Cartmell's Cusidh Homecoming, very houndy in shape, good head and long neck, deep brisket, straight legs with flat bone, nice underline and correct topline, moved fairly well. 2 Williams' Addicted To Love, not as finished as winner, however a very promising youngster, with good overall conformation just has to settle, moved OK. 3 Phillips' All Guns Blazing For Ladygrove, slightly larger hound, good body and bone good substance, well muscled quarters.

YD (5,1) 1 Spence & Heathcote's Hyndsight Riddick, an Extremely well balanced dog, full of quality, he stood out in this class vey well made body, with excellent conformation and a free movement. 2 Wragg's Neroche Irving, different type more short coupled good head, deep brisket, he is taller on the leg excellent topline and fair movement. 3 Ackland & Potter's Greyflax Black Crow, another very nice youngster, with a typical head and good body conformation.

(14,4)1 Peach's Kilbourne Hamlet, very typical of the breed, shown to perfection and in perfect harmony with handler good head nice long neck good shoulder, correct rise over loin, moved with a lovely active stride. 2 Adams' Ardneish Lohengrin, slightly bigger and heavier than winner, houndy head, nice depth of chest, with correct spring of rib, strong hindquarters so unlucky to meet winner. 3 Cartmell's Cusidh Righ Innse Gall, nice youngster, with a well balanced body and very good hindquarters, another good mover.

LD(9)1 Shannon's Erewhon Dambuster, a quality dog, very nice size and shape, deep chest a good spring of brisket, nice front construction lovely topline, well bent stifles with powerfull quarters and lovely light gait. 2 Hawkins' Kwaricott Asclepius, masculine head, long neck, nice forearm, good rise over loin, shown in muscular condition, very well balanced on the go. 3 Freeman's Kwaricott Abdiel, a lovely dog just so unlucky to meet the winners, everything in the right place, correct topline, well muscled hindquarters.

(10,2) 1 Helps' Ch Greyfriars Gille Of Beardswood. A pleasure to go over this dog he is so sound, lovely masculine head, a very elegant and houndy body, deep chest correct spring of rib, lovely rise over the loin strong thighs with good muscle tone, well bent stifles and just floated round the ring very true coming and going CC. 2 Gillie's Dorrator Gethen, another quality dog, nice masculine head without any coarseness, long neck supper lay back of shoulder, deep brisket, good topline, good width of thighs, and a great powerfull stride on the move RCC. 3 Hawkins' Kwaricott Archimago JW, lovely dog with a super body and conformation typical of the standard, nice depth of chest strong muscular thigh and correct movement.

(3) 1 Seymour-Jackson's Ghiltan Hero, a mature dog with a good outline, deep chest and good spring of rib, long neck correct topline and good movement. 2 Spring-Arnold's Sorisdale Macmanus, a lighter framed dog, not as mature as winner, with a good body and fair movement. 3 Williams' Addicted To Love.

(9,2) 1 Adams' Hydfron Ula For Zandahar ShCM, feminine head, very good shoulder placement, straight front, deep chest good overall balance moved withgood drive from behind. 2 Buswell's Ghylladare Kinglas Of Glenmorlich, very elegant bitch with a pretty head and correct ears, good depth of chest, nice rise over the loin, moved fairly well. 3 Seymour-Jackson's Ghiltan Larch, another one who is a credit to her owner, very well balanced with a good overall conformation and good movement.

SPB (5,1) 1 Jordan's Hoddingrey Beeswing, very compact joungster, with a super body very well balanced, and full of quality, she stood out in this class, lovely head, well angulated shoulder, strong hindquarters and  moved like a dream, BP. 2 Barter & Christian's Hoddingrey Strahanna Of Ehlaradawn, taller on the leg than winner, but also well balanced, not as deep in brisket, would prefer better bend of stifle moved OK. 3 O'Brien & Quinn's Hoddingrey Terrona, good head and overall conformation was unlucky to meet winners, moved fairly well.

(15,2)1 Peach's Ain't Miss Behavin At Kilbourne. Best mover in this class, she is fairly big but so full of quality, nice head very good lay back of shoulder, long neck, very deep chest, correct topline, strong muscular quarters, and an easy light stride. 2 Jordan's Hoddingrey Beeswing. 3 Bond's Regalflight Tana, promising youngster, not as mature as the winners, good overall conformation and moved OK.

YB (10,2) 1 Parsons & McKinnon's Claonaiglen Fionnelighe, very elegant and shapely, sweet head long neck leading into a good shoulder, correct topline, well bent stifles very even stride coming and going. 2 Buswell's Glenmorlich Just For Fun, pretty head good ears, long neck well made body, very strong hindquarters very well muscled moved very well. 3 Taylor's Kilbourne Baccarat To Ormanstar, completes a trio of promising youngsters, everything in the right place would prefer a less upright pastern, moved OK.

PGB (25,6) 1 Finnett & Harrington's Kilbourne Levanto With Hyndsight, nice size, well balanced body, good head, long neck, full of quality, correct topline, good bone and plenty of substance without being too big, very good true movement. 2 Gillie's Dorrator Song For Drella, slightly larger and taller than winner, but a very nice bitch in this top class entry, good head and ears, sweet expression, well bent stifle moved very well. 3 Llewellyn's Matahari Mermaid, another smashing bitch, would win easily in a smaller class, very good overall conformation, and excellent movement.

(17,7) 1 Platt's Charbonnel Fliss, the best mover in this class, pretty head, good ears, strong neck, nice shoulder angulation, correct topline, well muscled quarters, good reach on the move. 2 Morgan's Ladygrove Calamity Jane At Amiro, lovely head and correct ears, nice long neck good shoulder, good rise over loin stron hindquarters moved well. 3 Carr's Kilbourne Oh Suzzanna With Marandike, so unlucky to meet winners, everything is in good proportion, strong body, well muscled and good movement.

(8,2)1 Cartmell's Ch Drawing Down The Moon To Cusidh, what a lovely bitch full of quality and elegance, she commanded the ring with her presence, nice head good depth of brisket, she is all curves in the right places, very good propulsion from behind on the move, CC and BOB. 2 FInnett & Heathcote's Hyndsight Who's That Girl, another smashing bitch so full elegance and substance, good head, long neck and great conformation, moved very well RCC. 3 Bailey's Ch Greyflax Waterloo Sunset. So unlucky to meet the winners, loved her overall construction and size, pretty head, good deep chest, moved very well.
